Roman Axe (Fasces) Badge / Brooch - OB2911

In Ancient Rome the Fasces was worn by magistrates as a symbol of their authority. 

Our fasces badge / brooch is cast in brass. It can be attached to leather belts / harness, armour etc. by carefully riveting (hammering) over the attached cone shaped part on the rear of the brooch. 

Ideal for Re-enactors and Pagans.
